Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Playmakers Win (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our app and this website, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect what we need to run your account and deliver what you ask for, we don’t sell it, and we don’t run ads or trackers.

What we collect

Account details. Your email address, the display name you choose and your password, which we store only as a one-way hash. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple gives us an account identifier and the name and email address you choose to share, which may be a private relay address.
Profile. Your display name and, if you add one, a profile picture.
Sign-in sessions. When you sign in we record the session, including the IP address and type of device it came from, to keep you signed in and protect your account.
Notifications. If you allow notifications: a push token for your device, a device identifier, your platform and which alerts you’ve turned on.
Subscription status. Apple or Google processes your payment, and we never see your card details. Our subscription provider tells us which plan you have, when it started and renews, and which store it came from.
Support messages. What you send us and our replies. To help you, we may look at your account and subscription.
Referrals. If you share or use a referral code, who referred whom.
Crash reports. If the app crashes or hits an error, a report with your device model, operating system, app version and what went wrong. Crash reports aren’t linked to your name or email address.
Server logs. Like most online services, our servers log requests, including IP addresses and times, to keep the service working and secure.

How we use it

To create and run your account and keep you signed in.
To give Premium members their analyses and picks, and to send the notifications you’ve turned on.
To send account email, such as password reset links.
To answer your support requests.
To find and fix bugs and crashes.
To prevent fraud and abuse and keep the service secure.
To meet our legal obligations.

AI and your data

Our game analyses are written with the help of AI models, which we reach through Vercel’s AI Gateway. We send those models sports information only: schedules, odds, injuries, weather and news. We don’t send them your account details, your messages or anything else about you.

We share personal information only with companies that help us run Playmakers Win, and only what each one needs:

Cloudflare runs our servers and stores profile pictures.
PlanetScale hosts our database.
Vercel hosts this website and carries our AI requests, which contain sports data only.
Apple and Google provide Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases and push notification delivery.
Expo sends push notifications to your device.
RevenueCat manages subscriptions.
Sentry collects crash and error reports.
Resend delivers our email.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy keeps applying to your information.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
We don’t show ads.
We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers, and we don’t track you across other apps or websites.
We don’t collect your location, contacts or photos, apart from a profile picture you choose to upload.
This website doesn’t set cookies.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your information while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time in the app: open Account settings and tap Delete account. That permanently deletes your account, profile, profile picture, sign-in sessions, the subscription and referral records we hold, your device registrations and your support conversations.

We keep a minimal record that the deletion happened, with an account ID and timestamps, so we can show it was completed. Crash reports and server logs expire on their own schedule. Your choices and rights

Change your display name and profile picture in Account settings.
Turn notifications on or off in Account settings or your phone’s settings.
Delete your account in the app at any time.
Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing support@playmakerswin.com.

Depending on where you live, for example California, the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have more rights, such as to object to or restrict some uses of your information, and to complain to a data protection authority. We won’t treat you differently for using any of them.

Age limit

Playmakers Win is only for people 21 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think someone under 21 has an account, tell us and we’ll delete it.

Security

Everything travels over encrypted connections, passwords are hashed, and your information is stored with providers that encrypt it at rest. Only the people who run Playmakers Win can see account data, and only to operate and support the service. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise absolute security.

Our providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
